Updated: October 15th, 2020

Made up of two campuses and hosting over 60,000 students from around the world, the University of British Columbia (UBC) prides itself on research and innovation.

The Vancouver campus of UBC is located along the west coast of British Columbia and is a mere 30 minutes from downtown Toronto. The Vancouver campus was established over 100 years ago and has its roots firmly dedicated to innovation and its history.

The Okanagan campus is nestled in the Okanagan Valley, an area famed for its natural beauty and wineries. Only established in 2005, this campus hosts around 8,300 students. Despite its size, it is ranked among the top 40 universities in the world. With smaller more intimate teaching sessions, the Okanagan campus is a wonderful place for those who teach, innovate, and research.

The University of British Columbia gives students the opportunity to study courses across a range of subjects including business, law, technology, creative arts, languages, and physics. There is very little UBC does not offer to international students. Find out more about the University of British Columbia (UBC) here.
